It's absolutely not accurate based on New Zealand being in the Indian Ocean 🤣

And is the goalie just jauntily skipping?

From my work, ages from 20s to mid-40s, approx 50% of the artists on our lists overlapped. Angels, INXS, Midnight Oil, Paul Kelly, H+C, Cat Empire came up multiple times. My experience is young voters know the older songs and older voters don't know the newer ones. So old songs have a bigger pool.

I really would love to but sadly don't meet the language requirements. Unless you take Duolingo as a certification!

Oh wow, didn't know you were retiring! That's big news.
If you'd like to spend more of that time travelling I've got a business proposal for you 😄

I also found commentary about the Teals misleading. Journalists seemed to want them to commit to a side for a minority govt. But as a Teal voter I'd want her to wait to see the preference flows locally and have policies she was/wasn't prepared to negotiate on rather than picking a side in advance?

Not my question, but a younger person in a politically engaged Slack channel was confused on Saturday night about why results were being called when only 30% of votes had been counted.

Everyone was talking about the Labor brand being toxic in Victoria but didn't seem to recognise the Victorian Liberals are also a total dumpster fire.

Thanks for your work! Definitely chose my first choice of polling place based on your map and who had the vegan sausages!
I imagine it would be difficult but it would be great to be able to crowd source wait times at each location for a future iteration. It was out of control today!

Not here. Quiet first thing but from around 11 it was 2 hours. Same story at at least 6 different places in the area according to people online. I only tried two personally

We didn't really have any pre-poll options in our area and are on the border of 3 electorates so I'm guessing there's a large number of people who weren't really able to vote early.

Queues in my area are apparently 2 hours long so I'm not surprised!

And ABC Australia and SBS Australia.

I'm working with an organisation that's trying to help young people connect with policy rather than voting on vibes. We'd love to talk to you if there's any interest.

He looks absolutely insane in the photo too so if you had no idea who he was it is a very strange picture

Would have thought that being able to scheme your way into a national security group thread is the exact reason that you shouldn't be discussing such things on Signal in the first place. So I'm not sure this is actually helping him.

What's happening to young men online was the top-voted audience question at the Wheeler Centre's event with Kara Swisher last night so there's obviously public concern about it too, so extra odd that there's no appetite to tackle it.
