Not to get ahead of myself, but Dana Brown may have extended the Astros' window of competitiveness by at least a few years by trading Kyle Tucker. Of course, it ultimately hinges on how good Cam Smith proves to be. At a minimum, it buys the club time to restock farm via draft & overcome bad salary.

I'm not posting much on here & not bc I don't WANT to. It's just that this platform desperately needs to diversify to attract people who want to avoid politics. Right now, the motivation to join is overwhelmingly driven by politics & most of the prominent members are posting about such.

Meta is absolute shit. 3 of the 7 posts I saw as I was scrolling down my feed were about Google Maps making the change from Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America. That weasel Zuckerberg bent over for MAGA.

Never seen Man City look so scared in the Pep era - like they don't have confidence to play that signature aggressive high press out of fear/respect for Liverpool's counter. Liverpool is dominating the possession so far.

Liverpool has bossed Man City around & now they get the goal to show for it. Liverpool looks like they have many more in them, also. This City side isn't the level I've seen from them the past 5 years or so under Pep.

Soccer Zone in Live Oak used to be a dope place to ball, but Let’sPlay bought it & turned it into a corporate pile of shit whose primary goal is to jack your money & ruin the soccer experience in the process. Scheduling league games during the holiday weekend is just shitty.

This is very bold. I don't know if SA residents will have the stomach for the price tag, but this will definitely boost SA's competitiveness for major conventions, sporting events, concerts, etc that have been bypassing the city in the past few years.
Details of Spurs-anchored downtown sports, entertainment hub emerge
City officials envision an arena for the San Antonio Spurs, an overhauled Alamodome, a bigger Convention Center and more in the downtown district.

The refs are really taking over this Pacers/Rockets game. Holy moley.

The differing views from my own don't bother me as much as just being on a platform owned by a Trump fanboy & member of his administration. That is why I am here. Moderation & upholding a code of conduct is fine, but creating a thought vacuum is hyporcritical.

So yeah, the Rockets are now 10-4 and just finished their most dominant and complete game of the season. It’s starting to happen.

Jake Paul may have "won", but I was more impressed w/ Tyson. Him going the distance is pretty badass.

Is my first post on Bluesky going to be about how bad Netflix is screwing the pooch for this Jake Paul/Mike Tyson fight? Yes, yes it is.
