Recently the younger generations in Vietnam are pivoting back to the actual traditional ao dai, the ones without the French influence. These are áo Nhật Bình and áo Ngũ Thân tay chẽn. I personally find these better-looking than the ao dai. Sorry for the long rant I just rly dislike ao dai ;v;
