The Skyward Sword prequel manga, now no matter what you say, this is objectively canon, it was the manga apart of the Hyrule Historia and it serves as a prequel to Skyward Sword. But anyhow, he's put part of a reincarnation cycle by Hylia.

The Hyrule Encyclopedia directly says "Link is not just one individual; he is the hero reborn to many homes, throughout many lifetimes, chosen by the goddess with a singular purpose: to stand up and fight when evil descends upon Hyrule."

Alright no more baby mode, time for the direct evidence. Ganondorf directly tells Wind Waker Link he is the Hero of Time reborn. Nothing else to argue here, this is an alt timeline where Hero of Time Link left to another timeline so this can't be a bloodline.
