i’m probably not going to be back for a minute, but i’m curious to see if this will also hold true then.

and! even the ones i didn’t get to hang out with, having a catalyst for bring able to just chat again over text was nice :)

getting to see that these relationships still exists in some capacity (even in the cases where it is mainly driven from an acknowledgement of the hole left behind) gives me more confidence that the stories from this era won’t just fade into irrelevance over time. really important realization.

i appreciated how many people reached out to meet, despite not publicly asking to schedule stuff; even for the ops i met up with, i feel i came out of every one-on-one interaction with a much more positive impression of that individual.
