if you click that button (kind of a long-press for me) then you can change the settings. Not sure if it’s just that post or defaults for all posts.

Meet Li-Cor Man! (It comes with a LiCor shirt and LiCor hat).
Origin story: a scientist was measuring 24-hr gas-exchange rates when a terrible lightning storm appeared at midnight. When the scientist grabbed the cuvette and turned to seek shelter, they were stuck by lightning! Li-Cor Man was born!

The #PhysFam just got bigger! I had a great week helping teach methods in plant hydraulics at the Highlands Biological Station. Can’t wait to reconnect with new friends at #Botany2025 in Tucson AZ @bsa-ecophys.bsky.social

We had a great time teaching participants about theory and methods in plant-gas exchange! Many thanks to my co-organizers Chris Muir (UW-Madison) and Richard Vath (LiCor), and all the great attendees.

Ameya Baxi: “Beyond Binary: Revealing continuous variation within ultramafic soils and its relevance to fern ecology in the Americas (Part I)”.
See you Monday evening in the Exhibit Hall! #Botany2024

So excited for #Botany2024! Make sure you check out these great posters from students in my group. Zach Smith: “Anatomical traits along n aridity gradient in Australian Cycas”.
See you Monday evening in the Exhibit Hall!

That's a wrap folks! 19 days of cycad #ecophys and *wowza* we were productive! Another 3 primary ecophys variables (mostly water-relations) for all 207 cycad species at MBC! #IBC2024 could be the first time I talk about these data.

Tomorrow is day 19 of cycad hydraulics and evolutionary physiology at the Montgomery Botanical Center in FL. After 7 yrs (!) we have a huge ecophys dataset on 207 species of cycads (out of ~370 extant). #cycads #ecophys #WhichTraitsAreNicheTraits

#PhysFest4 at the Sevilleta National Wildlife Refuge was a huge success! I had a great time helping teach students about plant water relations. The future of #ecophys looks bright!
