Yes, if you're old school and still believe you actually BUY ebooks on Amazon, as Amazon sold them and continues to, Amazon doesn't believe you do—they own the books, you just pay up front to access them however THEY decide to let you. Is a deal a deal if one party unilaterally changes it?

I can't decide whether or not I enjoy the cynical-optimist realism conflicts in this sort of sentiment/mindset. OOH it feels like a privileged cop-out, OTOH it's nonetheless a thing.
