Still on my great road trip from Austin to Chicago, and was thrilled to be able to find a Malaysian restaurant near Dallas! It was so lovely to talk to fellow Malaysians at Malacca Cafe, and eat satay, roti bakar, teh tarik, and kon lau wan tan mee again

First stressful stage of moving house is done and more to go, but wanted to share how proud I am for my story to be included in the Our Dust Earth anthology by @aanpress.bsky.social! Can't wait to get back to normal schedule in the new place and writing 🙂

Been trying to keep to writing-related posts. But that is TWO green card holders (like me) detained in US, threatened to be revoked. Really feel for the wife waiting 4 hours at the airport to pick up her German long time-US PR husband, not knowing he was detained, stripped naked, denied his meds🤢

Quite proud of myself for writing 1,200 words of a new short story on a theme I will only call Junglepunk, only to realise I might have to chuck like 80 percent of it because the plot changed on me. Isn't that just 🙄
