How can a human who was an immigrant not want others to be treated like they were? Should we be more careful & know their own history before accepting them?

As a retired CSR (customer service) I’m concerned this type of jobs will be deleted. My experience on phone call last week was a nightmare trying to get help. I’m receiving SS plus a small retirement for over 40 years of work. I’ve been single over 25 yrs & self supporting bc of that work.

How could he have believed it was the right thing to do?
