I wonder if the 43k Prelude would have been better received with an A badge rather than an H badge

AI ads on TV be like: we have literally no idea what anyone is going to do with this technology. HOWEVER, a data center in your town is DEFINITELY not a bad thing

In Pokemon Black & White, the first two towns are based off Long Island. Hilbert confirmed Jewish???

The development of Linux gaming has been crazy. There's so much stuff that wasn't possible last year that is now. I learned today that Cemu, the Wii U emulator, has Linux builds

The AI generator coke christmas ad taking more people and costing more than and being worse than just using VFX tells you everything you need to know about the technology

We should create a network of computers across the globe where 1/3 of it doesn’t rely on some file on some server somewhere

Nvidia earning being good tells you nothing about the bubble. Of course the shovel salesman is okay. The bubble is the companies buying these GPUs with a shit load of debt and no path to profitability

Valve has the opportunity to do the funniest thing and make Half-Life 3 Linux exclusive

This isn’t dot-com, it’s 2008.

At this point, I’m convinced any one claiming AI will replace jobs has never used it in a professional setting. Because, holy shit, the output is pure slop and aint getting any better

Folks, I have a new video today where I'm very excited to announce a new dishwasher powder on the market.

Why am I so excited? Because it's vindicated every single one of my detergent opinions.

I was right about dishwasher pods, and now I can prove it

If a company states "we're doing these layoffs because of efficiencies gained by AI" they are lying. A huge layoff looks bad to investors because it's not infinite growth and the people in charge of hiring save face by not making a headcount mistake on the order of the size of a medium sized town

The problem with comparing the AI bubble to the dot com bubble is that it legitimizes this AI craze. The between them is that the internet was able to create value, AI cannot.

With the announcement of the Xbox price hikes, I'm now convinced you could just play PS2/GCN/Wii games for the rest of your life and fully enjoy the hobby of gaming

Not that “touch grass” is a solution to the world’s problem. However, have you guys ever watched those videos where someone stops using the internet and immediately becomes more sociable?

The greatest tragedy of the internet is that it let total losers congregate away from socially well adjusted people and convince themselves that the crazy shit they believe it’s total valid

btw Firefox added a bunch of AI/ML features, and you can disable them in about:config with browser. I noticed a significant performance increase on my work laptop

From what I can tell, the only purpose is to use an LLM to name your tab groups

The issue with summer is that there’s nothing under foot. Spring? Puddles. Fall? Leaves. Winter? Snow.
