The monsters are also scaled for High Rank, which is a section of the game that comes after hitting credits the first time. Doshaguma and Gypceros are probably the two monsters the beta gear is balanced for. Rey Dau and Arkveld are there as a challenge for veterans.

I get the frustrations really, but I think the beta is definitely gonna give off a bad impression. For starters, the devs have already said the frequency of the monsters changing zones is bugged in the beta.

it's got significant changes from 3 but I think it's still pretty good after getting used to the air mechanics.

From what i remember, a lot of the most memorable stuff is from that back half. Also, it's significantly harder. Up to you if you keep going.

It's hard to pin down a name for this sub-genre at this point without recreating that xkcd comic. I'm tossing in "High Grade Action" as an option, though.
