I’m lowkey so thankful to now feel confident enough on my skates to be able to play with my kid while rolling. He liked pulling me, and also loved blowing the whistle and telling me to go faster 😂

It’s been a minute! Got new skates and am feeling more confident. Managed some crossovers today that look awful but they’re the best I’ve done so far!

Been bad at going on here recently but wanted to share today’s skate! I feel like I’ve been making really good progress and I’m so pumped about that 🙌

Making progress! 5 days til #rollerderby rookie training starts 🤘my goal was to be fairly steady on my skates before then and I’m pleased with where I’m at. Going to get new toe stops this weekend to help with getting up, and some knee gaskets for extra knee protection. So excited! #rollerskating

Making progress! 5 days til #rollerderby rookie training starts 🤘my goal was to be fairly steady on my skates before then and I’m pleased with where I’m at. Going to get new toe stops this weekend to help with getting up, and some knee gaskets for extra knee protection. So excited! #rollerskating
Made some progress this weekend! Got more comfortable with picking my feet up and pushing off. Finding my new center of gravity has been tough, as is relearning where to distribute my weight in my skates, but I’m excited for progress! 12 days til #rollerderby rookie training! #skating
