Stopped by to see Benny the Beard Fisher today in the Germfask, MI. Benny is a wooden troll sculpture created by Danish artist, Thomas Dambo on the banks of the Manistique River in 2023.

Drove most of the day, but we made some time to visit The Lake of the Clouds in Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park the U.P. of Michigan. Leaf colors seemed to have popped overnight and looked great today even though the photos look like shit. LOL #906

Stopped by Lakenenland Sculpture Park today, just outside Marquette, MI. It is a 37 acre park that includes a Sculpture Trail, a winding road through the woods featuring more than 100 whimsical, colorful and sometimes "tell it like it is" Metal Art sculptures. Best of all it is FREE and open 24/7.

Lake Superior was calm today for our Pictured Rock cruise. Light breeze, sun and 60° temps... not too shabby for the U.P. on the last day of September.
