Spanish international, goals Vs Italy and Switzerland with incredible upside - I'd argue he's the polar opposite of desperation!

That is based on your point of view and a lot of assumptions, with no understanding of the shareholding structure and voting rights of the club. As you are continuing to make assumptions and again prefer courtrooms over football on the pitch, we conclude. I hope you enjoy your next legal drama.

The club went out there and spoke to UEFA after the FA Cup so they were not ignored. It seems you value courtroom football and politics over the sport on the pitch so that's where this conversation ends unfortunately. Have a good Bank Holiday!

Ultimately, sporting merit and achievement no longer counts for anything in the game anymore and if anyone is pleased with that then I would strongly question whether football is the sport for them. Our biggest rivals Brighton had the chance to further challenge the courts against us...yet didn't.

I was grateful for the statement up til the big boy pants part - I don't agree with the system and the actions of many ownerships but that's irrelevant. Good luck to you and your fans in the Europa League this year and I hope this situation does not present itself again.

UEFA had accepted our position in the EL initially until it was challenged...

And we were the first club Textor bought shares in - so the MCO was not through our choosing. There's more nuance to "neither are true" with this case which is my point. Alas that is lost on many...

Blind trust is a loophole to circumvent the rules however - so there is little legally we could have done with the guilty party actively trying to sell said shares. Parish got the PR and legal narrative completely wrong which has made it easier for others in this situation.

It was more of a rhetorical question but I agree with the points. He acted yes - past the deadline.

But you didn't comply with them either - my issue is the holier than thou approach when you're guilty on the same rule breaking, you're just lucky/unlucky you didn't qualify for the CL. Parish is to blame for many things in this - but there's no legal compliance we could have done to rectify.

The assumption that putting things into a blind trust are "rules" and not a legal loophole to circumvent the said rules is often overlooked. If Forest are as massive as you sing, why didn't your owner put his Olympiakos shares in a blind trust past the deadline instead?
