You didn’t get as far as my favourite Mulan (1998): Funny, dramatic, great songs. But totally agree about the carpet- great characterisation!

If they start from the same location then the question becomes when is Rover 10m ahead of Ruby. The relative difference between them is 2m per time unit, so it will take 5 units for this to happen. Can generalise from here.
