An excellent book and I *love* the visual, colorful aspects of the descriptions of place. Not enough to overwhelm the story but enough to really create a strong sense of place. A great author!

Am listening to an audio book, Sunward by William Alexander. It is called a "cozy Sci-Fi" mystery. I have to agree and while I miss the complexity of my regular Sci-Fi, this one isn't too bad.

I'm almost embarrassed to say, it was The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt. Why embarrassed? That it took me this long to finally read it! An excellent book and I'm constantly recommending it to others, along with My Friends by Fredrik Backman which was my #1 book from September.
