That was fun. And your alliterative maunderings made me muse.......

That's a lovely, reflective thought. We can all benefit from pausing in the midst of the madness to consider how the field of existence all around us is interacting with itself....

Delightful! Thanks.

Have you tried signing in with a different account? One just for the purposes of following his messages?

Hmmm...."Not our job."

Is that the latest iteration of the just-following-orders defense?

That's a stunning recursive reflection. Such a crisp depiction of such a complex problem.

Thanks,.

Lysenkoism. Succinct reference to an idea that killed. Like Pol Pot.

Our human susceptibility to ideology — to the stories we tell ourselves to create an illusion of certainty in the face of whatever scares us — supersedes irrespective of consequences.

It's all very sad.

Thanks.

It's really astonishingly remarkable, isn't it? Individually humans are capable out touching acts of kindness. But, collectively, our capacity for uniquely creative forms of heartless cruelty is breathtaking.

Heartbreaking. When Control and Scapegoating become more prioritized than Knowledge....this story is what becomes the norm. I'll barely bother to raise the issue of where kindness, empathy, and exploring shared humanity fit into our new society.

Inadvertently, perhaps, you included a most striking piece on collective humanity suppressing art: Matilda Emmerich - 16 - told to instead paint a landscape: www.facebook.com/search/top?q...

Thanks. Whole new areas of devastation to metabolize. That probably sounds sarcastic though, in reality, it's just my wry, shake-my-head-some-more, open-eyed encounter with our relentless dissolution. Sad. During the Sixties, I really thought we were going to end up in a better place.

Ha ha....me too - and I'm 77.

Ha ha - and I always felt kinda bad for the poor insects who were just minding their own business as I blazed along through the night in my '56 Ford.

That's an excellent, undeniable observation. There were even screens for the fronts of cars.

I remember standing in long lines at places like this. It was fun.

I responded with the word 'breathtaking' but immediately realized I had no breath left.

So, that's about the only thing this invasion can no longer take.

Alas.

I thoroughly enjoyed your poem - and your image. Wait....wrong language. Habits, you know —

Me ha gustado mucho tu poema y tu imagen. Espere.... lenguaje incorrecto. Hábitos, ya sabes -

Such a lovely combination of defined line and abstract, playful background. Keep it up!
