We harvested our tomatoes for the season and are preparing the garden for winter. These will ripen in the basement so we can enjoy them during winter. 🍅😋

The weather has changed and there is about one more week before it's time to prepare the garden for winter. It has been a very successful growing season and I'm a bit sad it is coming to an end.😢 #gardening #pnwgardening

We removed these plants from their original spot in the front yard, as they were not doing well. They are now thriving in their new location and the bees love all the flowers. Found out they are sedum autumn joy and just needed more ☀️. #PNWgardening #gardening

This is the last nectarine of the season found hiding on our tree 😥. We donated almost 300 pounds of fruit off our backyard nectarine and peach trees to our local food bank, so we are very happy about that! #gardening #pnwgardening #pnw

My experiment of planting marigolds and nasturtiums in our veggie garden to attract pollinators was a success. It has been a very productive year. #gardening #pnwgardening
Marigolds, nasturtiums, lavender, Japanese eggplant, tomatllos, mint and tomatoes. Fresh picked Japanese eggplants and two varieties of cukes. Red, ripe tomatoes.. 😋 Front to back, thyme, rosemary, potatoes, WW sweet onions and grapes.

We acquired 10 mature raspberry bushes about 2 years ago. We planted them during summer and cut them to the ground for winter. Last year they recovered, but did not produce any fruit. We cut back to about 2-1/2 ft tall for last winter and finally success this year! 🌱 #pnw #pnwgardening #gardening

Red and pink roses that fade to white in the center First time this lily blossom has appeared in our garden. It looks like the center was spray painted a dark burgundy in the center of white tipped petals. A single rose blossom with white petals tipped in pink with a pale yellow center. A bunch of pink lilies in our garden. These plants are close to 6 feet tall.

Shortcake made from scratch with fresh strawberries and topped with real whipped cream and dusted with powdered sugar. This was my late mom's specialty and making it brought back so many memories.

Very large red tulip (the size of my hand)with a white and blue center. Our strawberry patch is expanding and flowers are just starting to show. Can't wait for harvest. First blooms on our dogwood tree after 5 years. Started from seed. Yellow tulip with red streaks. Seems like different blooms show each year.
