A drawing with a reclining figure viewed from behind in the upper portion of the image. The figure is rendered in shades of gray against a light background. Below this, an abstract striated shape extends downward, mimicking the silhouette of the reclining figure above. This lower element is characterized by numerous fine parallel lines that create a ribbed texture, flowing and bulging organically. The composition is drawn on off-white paper with irregular edges, particularly noticeable where the lower area has been cut away giving the artwork an intentionally fragmentary quality. The overall aesthetic combines figurative and abstract elements in a muted palette.
