I have read the article. Many times. It’s over a decade old. And it says absolutely nothing about him being a confirmed antisemite or of any evidence towards so, other than the fact that he belonged to some elite Hollywood groups that may have contained some antisemites.
Not great, but not all him.

Well first of all I would shoot MYSELF before ever working for Kirk. Secondly, Walt died in 1966 and Richard Sherman was alive until just last year, plenty of time to let Walt’s influence die down so he could tell his side of the story; and all his stories have been largely positive.

If you wanna criticize Walt, that’s fine. He was a union buster, he named names during the red scare, he was kind of a sleazy businessman, let’s just call him out for the things we know are confirmed true and not just whatever Family Guy says about him.

I mean they also spent years fondly recounting their time with the studio and with him, even sticking up for him against those rumors multiple times.
The way they describe him doesn’t seem like someone thinking “I hate these people but they do good work so I’ll reluctantly keep them on my team.”
