Let's talk about foot pain!

How your feet touch the floor/ground can impact your entire body.

If you have flat feet, you can end up with low back and leg pain.

If you have high arches, you can end up with ankle, knee and hip pain.

(These aren't the only things. Just examples.)

Something to be aware of if you are seeing a massage therapist on a regular basis:

When we work on you, our body temperature raises between 5 to 10 degrees. We fully understand that you, as the client, may get cold, but if you set your thermostat to SUPER HOT, we will be even hotter.

Proper rest and hydration can help so many issues in the body.

If you consistently have muscle tension or pain, adding massage to your self care could help increase the benefits of sleep.

Water is always good. Keep those muscles hydrated and you are less likely to obtain an injury.

I very much am NOT the person to try to sell you anything classified as "woo-woo."

I am a big believer of a positive mindset though. That doesn't mean being positive and sickly sweet all the time.

I believe in hope. I believe that if you have hope, you can get through almost anything.

Covid is absolutely no fun!

Thankfully I am back to 100%.

Make sure you take care of yourself. Illness makes the body tense while you're fighting whatever infection you have.

We're moving into the 2nd half of the year.

Scary things are happening everywhere, & it is very overwhelming.

You may convince yourself that you don't have time for self care. Or you may think you don't need it.

You absolutely do need it & should make time for it. Your mind & body will thank you.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

Inhale through your nose.
Exhale through your mouth.

You deserve peace. You deserve happiness.

Find a way to let go of some of your stress.

I recommend massage...but I'm biased. 😉

One of my favorite types of stress relief is music.

There are so many types of music to enjoy. Some make you dance. Some make you sing. Some make you cry. Some make you laugh. Some make subtle statements. Some make big proclamations.

Find the music that helps you unravel. You deserve it.
