It is disappointing to hear that 60 Minutes appears to be bending a knee for Trump. His outrage at show segments means that the show is doing its job. It’s time to keep up the pressure, not cave in to Trump.

Dude should take his Ritalin, and remind himself that “DOGE” will only have an advisory role to the executive branch. When they start recommending program cuts, they should note that 100% of the seats in the House, and 1/3 of the Senate, are up for reelection in less than 2 years.

Musk and Ramaswamy must be aware that all members of the House and 1/3 of the Senate have to run for reelection in 2 years. The Congressional tolerance for cuts that impact constituents may be more limited than this “dynamic duo” expect, even among “conservative” members.
