The echinacea quilt process continues. Here are pictures with the pieces spread out on the floor when I was matching flower heads to block backs and one of the blocks with flower head and petals coming together. The colors make me happy!

Anna Maria echinacea quilt progress! Working on this quilt top is color therapy. I’m a little nervous about assembly, but I have a long way to go before I get to that step.

Here’s the project I still have to finish. Please excuse the wonkiness. This is after round one of quilt cake wrangling. Now my old bones are resting a while before I tackle it one more time to make sure everything is smooth and aligned. #quiltsky #quilting

I am planning a new quilt project that involves six yards of my favorite colorway of Echinacea Glow (pictured, in color Autumn). It’ll be the back of the quilt so I don’t even have to cut it up. Whoop! Now to finish the existing project so I can begin this one! #quiltsky #quilting

I’ve been making progress on a quilt for my son. This is a close-up of the center of the top — I hope to hand quilt this but it will be the second largest I’ve ever done by hand, so we’ll see. Cooler heads may prevail when i actually get to that juncture. #quilting
