I don't have a super dog in this fight, but it does look like Eliason's weighted approach was probably in error.

The Eliason reanalysis has an obvious problem tho...he's claiming gender nonconformity stayed at a stable 1-2% thru 2023 until suddenly spiking to 10% in 2024. There's just no way that's plausibly true. Maybe Kaufman is wrong, but Eliason is too.
