Got done re-doing my personal website by replacing Hugo with Astro. Did it in about 3 days or so. I have some thoughts about the whole process (things are never as easy as they seem, are they?) I'd say it's worth the blood, sweat, and tears though. Let me know what you think. Left = new; Right = old

Last one for a while, but next up is Persona 5 Royal. I played the vanilla, non-royal version in 2020 just before lockdown. It changed me. I was and still am completely obsessed with this game. I think it's absolutely perfect. The soundtrack is incredible. The voice acting is fantastic.

I only recently got this one physically, but Persona 3 FES might be my favorite PS2 game. I started with Persona 5, but then went back and played the older titles. I haven't gotten around to playing The Answer yet, but I'll need to play it before I get to its equivalent in the remake.

I think Metal Gear Solid 2's storytelling is unmatched. It's incredibly cinematic and the voice acting is incredible. I love going back to this one and seeing just how so many of its story elements came to fruition (e.g. AI).

Let's talk about the PS2 and some of my favorites here. Tekken Tag Tournament was the first Tekken game I owned and my first PS2 game. I still go back and play it today because I just love how great it controls and the roster.

Next up, my favorite Final Fantasy game. I've always been a hopeless romantic, so I'm a sucker for love stories. I love the story in this one and how unique and fun the characters are. The design is charming and timeless. If you check this one out today, I recommend getting the Moguri mod.

On to the next generation of consoles with the greatest game of all time: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This game is what made me get into software development. Though, I never got into the game dev area, it's always been a dream and a passion of mine.

With Rita's rewind coming out soon, I wanted to talk about this power rangers gave for the Genesis/Mega Drive. I love beat-em-up games and this one's no exception. Power Rangers was huge for me and the other 90s kids growing up. The game is super fun and goes through the 1995 movie.

Next few posts are going to be about video games so bear with me lol. Let's talk about my favorite NES game of all time: Battletoads and Double Dragon: The ultimate team. There's no better beat-em-up. We hit peak beat-em-up in 1993. I revisit this one often. Never got past level 5 without cheats tho
