Not quite. 1st Circuit didn't rule quickly enough for the Executive. So the Executive took it to SCOTUS. Then 1st Circuit denied the stay. Then Jackson issued a tightly timed stay to avoid a worse stay from the doomer 6.

I thought I misread that radiation dose, but is literally 7400000000 Becquerel (7.4 gigaBecquerel, mostly beta emission) of radioisotope. That's, uh, kind of hot.

I would agree it's semantics. But the semantics don't always help when those in power can dismiss it because they don't meet X (fascism) while they're doing Y (authoritarianism). We should be screaming they're doing Y, and not be sliding the Overton window for them.

While I can appreciate that Okular generates desktop files to ensure each MIME type it supports is properly registered per freedesktop (screen cap 1), it is extremely obnoxious when I need to open a file with an application and have to scroll past oodles of duplicate "Okular" app entries (cap 2).
