I haven't said much on here. But man, the level of compassion I'm getting hoofing it around the well known bad parts of town has been almost downright wholesome and community like.
I don't anticipate this to last but it's been a surreal experience.

Perks of working in a pocket “bad area” of the city. I have diverse people skills that have come in handy as of lately in unrelated matters to my office location.

Retired my trays 17 years ago and always remember my many years working in the Service Industry. I hope I’m a safe spot for the staff to decompress.

I got stuck in the area at midday where the Alex Jones Tesla protest was. I can just tell you that was hell. 25 minutes stuck at a light, rocks flying, saws flying, the overpass about to collapse and the construction peels shrugging. That location is penance for its symbolism.
