The Feast of the Dedication is a remembrance of Mosaic tradition where a first born child was dedicated to the Lord on the 40th day of life. It was the first time they were presented in the temple and an offering of two doves made.

We celebrate it now as this is when Christ was dedicated.

I needed someone other than me to recognize that this sacred child deserved more than this broken world had ever offered them.

And on Sunday, we were able to, with the Feast of the Dedication, the local cathedral celebrated Mass in their honor, as their spirit was lifted to the Throne of God.

Thanks Mrs. Bond 💙

Today I cannot find within me anything but the broken, awkward prayer of an exhausted resident.

As awkward as a tired 28yo pressing a rosary into the cold hand of a child whose story should have been so different.

Since sentience began, we have sought to make sense of that room: the room where we say goodbye, where we are forced to shed all our delusions and face with damning sobriety our powerless mortality.

Some have found this a sacred good.

But I cannot today.

Was there something specific you needed input on about it? I’ve studied art history, but I’m a physician, not an artist.

You can type these insane fabrications all day long. It doesn’t make them true.

Maybe attempt something more productive than inventing dangerous and ludicrous assertions.

This is just blatant falsehood and you know that. And I get the sense you enjoy spreading it.

Remdesivir (let’s learn to spell shall we) has not “killed thousands”.

Take this BS elsewhere.

lol, we do look at the data. The data in favor of vaccination is enormous and has been for decades.

Yes, meaning this is not the first respiratory season it is on the market. Is math this hard?
November 28, 2024 at 7:15 PM
I did. Not sure how you thought I didn’t. We have it printed in our office.

Truly, why do Americans hate infection prophylaxis so much?

No-one ever is mad about antibiotics despite much higher side effect profiles in many.

I talk with parents about RSV all the time. I promise you this is a false statement. Most don’t know what RSV is.

I blocked her because I reviewed her page and don’t engage with people spreading transphobic propaganda.

I’m happy to talk about RSV all day long. 💙

RSV is also fatal. I think we need to be clear about that. Not a small number of American infants die every year.

And you are upset about an FDA approved antibody.
November 28, 2024 at 6:50 AM
What exactly are you hoping to find? Why do Americans have a weird obsession with preventative medications that already pass a standard FDA process?

Spain all but mandated the product several years ago to incredible success and saved lives.
November 28, 2024 at 6:47 AM
This is not correct. While it is newer, it has been in the market for multiple years.

Beyfortus is not a vaccination, so let’s start there. And I actually did read the through the published data sets before recommending and the evidence is convincing. I also take care of the RSV infected kiddos who go to ICU. So I assure you, I am well qualified to educate on risk benefit.
