I tried making a new starter edition US account but couldn't because I'm at the limit for those already.

Also, I was able to play Cixepls-TheScryers (remix) for ~30m after servers came up, but after logging off of this character I wasn't ever able to log back in.

* last night I found I also wasn't able to log in to new remix characters, only ones that had been played prior to maint

I also just tried on a completely fresh install on a different computer I've never played on before and I'm stuck there as well.

* full computer restarts (and I'm working on installing on a different computer to try now)
* normal connection troubleshooting steps (restarted router etc)
* ran the repair tool in bnet launcher
* created a new bnet account and logged in with that (this works!)

Out of curiosity, I made a new bnet account with a different email and things work fine.
