When you teach weird stuff, you get to read weird stuff. Enjoying the heck out of this study of human entanglement with the more-than-human through the lens of haunting, the gothic, history, race, postcolonialism, feminism, ecocriticism, and media studies.

In utter bliss reading this collection of writings and interviews from Louise Bourgeois. Her thoughts on what it means to be an artist and to make art are worth savoring slowly. And I love learning words that I somehow missed in biology class…
