The mighty Beth Corcoran, winner of the #Trinity Civic Engagement Activity Award, introducing a night for families who have someone with Down Syndrome, followed by #PPI contributor Ross O'Neill advocating for involvement in #research. Proud to see people with a lived experience leading this work.

It is great to see 'citizens' gathering data. Good on them for their work and on Ireland's
National Biodiversity Data Centre.
And it reminds me to say 📢 CITIZEN SCIENCE IS MORE THAN JUST DATA GATHERING! It's like saying that, as a citizen, we only want you to vote but not take any other action.
152,711 records sent to Ireland’s Citizen Science Portal in 2024
The National Biodiversity Data Centre has confirmed that 152,711 records were submitted through its Ireland’s Citizen Science Portal in 2024.
