If she's too frail to fulfill the duties of her office then she should step down. We need age limits in governance. The people making decisions about the future should live to see the results.

You’re ignoring my point that I’m paying more money in tax than I get in rebates. And taxing doesn’t increase inflation, it reduces purchasing power and demand.

Try $70 per month on my Enbridge gas bill - eats through the $300 in a few months. That’s also ignoring gasoline as well as transport for goods that you then pay more on. You don’t think Walmart isn’t passing on the increased delivery costs to the consumer?

Not theirs to give? Seizing property is very socialist lol

I definitely paid more in gas tax on my gas bills alone than the $300 rebate. And 1% in C02 emissions reduction could be due to anything; advancing tech, more green energy, etc. Not, mind you, solely because of the tax.

That’s right, even the Midwest suffers from climate related issues each year. You need to adapt to the new reality and build for it accordingly.

There is none, that’s not a variable you can control. Being ready with fire flow supply is something that every municipality has to contend.

I repeat, update the hydraulic models, upsize watermains where needed, and add pump capacity at reservoirs for periods such as this one

Increase reservoir and pumping capacity, put in a few high capacity standby pumps for emergencies, make sure you actually maintain your hydrants and that all your water mains are properly sized. Won’t cost that much more, and frankly could be taken out of any other budget

Absolutely. Cities must adapt to the threats around them, and in California the wildfire threat has been around for decades

Especially Shogun - squid game is self explanatory half the time with poorly written dialogue. Shogun really makes you think
