Early Christmas gift

I had to move the cat tower so I could put up the Christmas tree. Now JB thinks she got a new thing

18 months ago my friend lost her daughter in a tragic accident. I've grieved people before but this one definitely changed me.
To watch someone you love be in so much pain and not be able to do anything is so hard.
Please be kind to people you never know what they are going through.

My friend rescued this cat who was running in traffic.
I love her already

neurodivergent moment of the day: I'm walking around the corner, coworker says something.
I say what happened?
She said I wasn't talking to you.
So I keep walking as she says something else and then said you aren't going to stop?
I said you literally just said you weren't talking to me

A neighbor cat must've gotten in my garage when I pulled in bc all of a sudden I hear my cat screaming and a tussle happening.
I opened the garage door hoping my cat wouldn't run out, fortunately she ran in the house but now I'm all nervous

Friend calls me up and says I have a random question.
Do you want to go to Germany with me in September.
Me: um sure why not

June Bug has never been into toys but she loves climbing.
She now has six cat trees because she is very spoiled

JB isn't really into toys so I gave some of her old ones to my friend's cat.
She keeps sending me pictures like this

I've only finished one book this year. Just haven't felt like it.
I'm currently rereading The Lovely Bones, one of my favorites. Hoping it will reignite the spark and make me want to enjoy books again

When someone tries to complain about you at work and the manager comes and says you're right

I offer to come in early to work, they tell me they will get back to me. I say let me know by like 9 tonight
Then they text me at 4am " hey can you come in now"
No I'm not randomly up at 4am
This has happened twice in the last week

Spending my Friday night in my Christmas jammies, watching The Simpsons and eating a delicious stew my cousin made me.
