It is an rgb image combined with data using a hydrogen alpha filter which only allows light through in hydrogen alpha part of the spectrum

Good question, seeing as the remnant is about 90 light years across so probably at least 1.

You are seeing a nebula called the heart nebula. It is an emission nebula in the constellation of Cassiopeia and it is comprised of glowing gasses including hydrogen and oxygen which are highlighted in the image by redish and blue colours
