Yeah literally LOL or at least wait until we’re a bit more acquainted to ask? Like what do you want me to say, oh yeah this is in reference to a song that helped me a lot when I was suicidal? LOL it’s about to get real awkward real fast

I’ve also had people just say “what’s the meaning of your tattoos” hard stop. I have 7 on my arm and they unironically want me to go through each one and explain them it’s so weird to me idkkkkk

I’ve used that before but I always feel so awkward saying that like I’m trying to hide smtg 😭 and it always gets a “oh…” response and not a “that’s understandable no worries!” Hhfkshdnfm

BUT like for context I was in medical rounds the other day in a room with like 10 other medical professionals/doctors and one of the ot’s complimented one of my tattoos and asked me (while everyone was listening) what the meaning was like is that not weird idk 😭

In general I find it a bit odd to ask people you don’t really know to tell you the meaning behind a tattoo unless it’s a symbol/image you recognize but maybe I’m that friend that’s too woke idk
