Many who own or will inherit an asset that has consistently beat inflation for decades systematically don’t even want to talk about it and if they do, they will often stress the transportation side ignoring our metro wide awful residential density and separated use. At least you’re one step ahead.

Sounds great but the Vancouver Metro has among the very the highest housing multipliers in Canada. Fix that and I’ll thunderously applaud or at least explain how you would get market housing multipliers back to 3 like they once were.

I get it but see this as 10% and zoning as 90%. It’s only a small part when the war is about correcting land use to be sustainable. Homeowners in high multiplier metros want their cake and to be able to eat it to. Localigarchies, like oligarchies are very real and very powerful.
