Oceanside’s Climate Action Plan (CAP) is the local roadmap to 2050 for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, saving energy, and responding to the local challenges of climate change. Originally adopted in 2019, the CAP is being updated and is anticipated to be adopted by the City Council in early 2026.

Join us for the annual Tree Lighting! All the fun happens on Thursday, December 4 from 5–8pm at the Regal Cinema Plaza in downtown Oceanside (401 Mission Avenue). Santa will make a grand entrance on a fire truck between 5:45 and 6pm to help lead the tree lighting countdown at 6pm sharp!
