After several months of inactivity I have started a new piece of blender art, I have a rough outline what's going to be in it but this is my chance to de-rust and for starters I've started with this simple bed sheet. I'm feeling nervous that I have lost my touch perhaps but one way to find out?

I tried to pay for a jacket potato with this hilariously small denomination note i got from @frostflare.bsky.social , completely forgot i had it in my wallet, really tempted to laminate it. I will make it my mission to spend it somehow...

Not long come back from attending confuzzled, rather enjoyed it a lot more than I expected for my first fur con, perhaps that was the anxiety talking as i was nervous a few nights but things levelled out quickly. Next up is Galacon :)

Just watched The Remarkable Life of Ibelin and i have to say it snapped me in half, simply burst into tears by the end of it. A very moving documentary, with interesting editing and thoughtfully told, i would implore everyone to give it a watch if you havent already...

Apologies for the radio silence folks, I have been very busy in recent weeks on various bits and pieces (besides all the xmas admin) Another EOJ flavoured episode of my podcast has been recorded and I will be releasing it sometime in the week when I get chance to edit, starring Jim Boote :)

I'm pleased to announce that my Three Piece Suit for NexGen is now available for download from the NexGen discord server completely free for all! Here is the little title-card I have made to celebrate its release and I hope you all enjoy using it in your own artworks (Blender only sorry...)

After almost a month of work I can now call time on this project and call this three piece suit COMPLETE! While not perfect I achieved what I set out to do which was to make my very own functional clothing set for NexGen, now is the boring clean up phase for archiving and.... PUBLIC RELEASE!!

BOOM!! The Jacket has now been modelled, just gotta do the final clean up phase and add textures then I think this little project is almost done! I'm actually really pleased with how all the constituent parts have turned out for my first attempt...

After much tweaking and adjusting I think I can safely say this little shirt and tie set is finally complete! While not perfect, I think for my first attempt at making clothing turned out decent, shape keys and weights to boot :) I may even release the set if people want them?
