We need to accept that, when it comes to herd immunity and vital public health, that there can be NO vaccine exemptions except when the exemption is the decision of a qualified doctor. Fuck religious exemptions. Fuck conscience exemptions. Impose consequences that hurt. Suspend driving licenses.

Every little while I search Bluesky to see who is vacationing in Dubai and then I ask them if it wouldn't be more efficient to murder Sudanese babies directly than to do it so indirectly.

No one has agreed with me yet, but it would save them a lot of money.

One day, people will ask moral hypotheticals like, "If you could go back in time, would you strangle Chuck Schumer in his cradle?"

Even his own children and grandchildren will be like, "Oh fuck yes. Give me a glock."
November 10, 2025 at 3:06 AM
It must be horrible to be a Democrat who supports the shutdown and desperately wants that milquetoast party to actually fight against authoritarian takeover and see Chuck Schumer getting ready to respond.

Schumer is both incompetent and unconcerned. The country might fail but Chuck will be fine.

I'm playing the ludicrously well-made and very beautiful Bramble. It's a platformer set in a world of nordic mythology and features exquisitely lovely visuals. It also features incredibly dark and menacing creatures and profoundly grotesque imagery at times. As it should.

What a great find.

Too bad the press is craven and won't constantly ask the administration about its blatant white supremist policies.

"We might lose access! Well, access to bullshit and lies is still access."

Musk's post seems like the result of an AI prompt to create the most humiliating image possible.

"Elon Musk: I asked Grok to tell me that I have a fat cock. Here's what it came up with."
I know people think Musk only bought Twitter to help the rise of fascism.

While that’s important, I still think it’s secondary to his primary goal, which was to own the place where his fans praise him.

With AI, Musk’s use of the platform for love and validation is only getting more transparent.

Shutting down USAID has killed hundreds of thousands. And you know that the number will go up.

I have very definite ideas as to what should happen to Elon Musk, but want to keep this account so I won't express them.

Musk, Thiel, Zuckerberg, Ellison, et al are all utterly horrible people.

I'm thinking of subscribing to Zeteo, primarily because I love Mehdi Hassan and support independent media. Do any Canadians have experiences with it? How has the quality been overall? $120 for a years subscription is more expensive than my subscription to the Star, for example. Is it worth it?

It's a tight competition, but no Canadian government is a corrupt, incompetent and hostile to freedom and democracy than Alberta's. I'm donating to help PressProgress fight against this staggeringly hostile lawsuit.
Hi Bluesky 👋

Small life update: I’m at the centre of a multimillion dollar lawsuit in Alberta launched by a failed candidate for Jason Kenney’s UCP

It may be the longest and most expensive media trial in Canadian history

I’m ready to go public about it and I want to share more details with you 🧵

Thinking about reading this civil war history because I really like its spirit. Sherman's march should have been repeated over every southern state, back and forth, devastating them so that they would never have dared to continue terrorizing freed slaves.

The New York Times platforms Ross Douthat on "Did Women Ruin the Workplace?" (later edited)... What a total piece of shit newspaper. It has a few bright spots to prop up an otherwise intellectually indefensible, deeply dishonest piece of shit rag.

Carney was wrong to apologize for the Reagan ad, just as he has been wrong about the best way to approach the US slide into Oligarchical authoritarianism and grift. He needs to explain that pulling away from the US will be painful, but worth it.

Our business community opposes this.
Jen Gerson: You all owe Doug Ford an apology
Carney doesn't get it — his job is to be our national moral leader, not our senior trade negotiator.

The US Army is advising service members in Germany to go to German foodbanks during the shutdown. Seriously. Trump can find money to keep funding fucking ICE, but service members are advised to seek nutrition from a foreign government who is not responsible for their well-being.

There is a colossal slaughter going on in Sudan. The UAE will get away with this quite easily. They have been buying support for a while. They purchased $2 billion of Trump's cryptocoin. People view doing business or tourism in Dubai as benign.

People will bemoan this after the fact.

As Canadians, it has already been shown that we are not ready for the assault on our society that we're already undergoing. Racism as a political strategy is surging and corporate cash has completely captured conservative politicians.

We are not preparing for that which is coming.

Police misconduct (crimes) has cost Los Angeles nearly $400 million since 2019.

Imagine if the city could use that money for, say, improving people's lives.

If they want change, officers and the union have to be on the hook financially, just like doctors are.

In the Absolute Batman annual, Batman severely fucks up some American nazis. Racists are REALLY unhappy with this. But they have to equivocate miserably in their criticisms, because they know that they can't outright declare that they identify with the nazis.

Racism is a core aim of the Trump administration. Conservatives and moderates who tried to undersell the threat he would pose completely undersold it.

Has any major media entity asked Poilievre what he will do about the fact that his base are held together by hate? The CPC are a grave threat.

Since the middle class has been systematically killed off over the past 40+ years, intentionally, by conservatives, we desperately need working people to understand just how odious and harmful the extremely rich are. The Gilded Age taught us that owners are happy to have their workers live and die
