Turns out they were in fact very happy with it, no one bothered to mention it…it did go up though, yes!!

I directed and edited a sizzle reel that the client desperately needed me to deliver during the Christmas holidays. I put my heart and soul into it. Radio silence. No feedback. Exactly 1 year later, the client calls, “We need you to make a cutdown…” I was never given any compliment or validation.

Can totally relate. Plus: having to fight to get paid for it after delivery…

Thanks so much, It had been sooOoo long since I used after effects that I kinda just ham-fisted it all together, not the most efficient project file to look at, but it works!
