(Whereas when something is knit flat, you're knitting off needle A onto needle B, turning the work over and then knitting back from B to A, so it does matter, like with my jumper 😑)

Haha! Serious answer that you're probably not looking for, but: because gloves are knit in the round (in a continuous spiral) rather than flat, you can get away with using different sized needles as long as the one you're knitting onto is the right size
