YouTuber with a currently inactive channel. He/him.
Was he even a dad? I always just thought he was the wise village elder, and "Papa" was kind of a term of respect.

I gave away my Genesis to a friend because Sega's advertising straight up called Nintendo fans stupid to our faces for not preferring Sega. I have never regretted that decision.

Well, it hasn't been that long since she wrapped up the highest grossing concert tour in history. I didn't like the TPD album either, but I think she's past the point where bad albums can really hurt her.

I'm pretty sure it was. My understanding when I signed up for it was that it was a one-year deal.

Thanks for coming back to Alaska for this one. See you again in another 30 years!

I'm not saying dubbing has no uses. Blind people, for example, wouldn't be helped by subtitles. But don't default to assuming that someone who clicked on a foreign-language video doesn't want to hear the foreign language.

I don't "let" people win. I play squarely or not at all.

I admit I didn't the first time around, but then when you said that, I was like, "Recognize? What is there to recog--OH YEAH, IT'S *THAT* ROOM!"

You could put that on a T-shirt and sell a zillion of them.

I actually understood that reference because I remember that one day on Twitter when people were talking about Bean Dad. I . . . I'm going to go lie down.

The "tons of circles" thing sounds like trypophobia; I have that, too, to an extent. It's actually fairly common, though I don't think scientists have managed to pin down why.

Also, calling "a sentence a character said once" a "catchphrase" is stretching that word until it breaks.

I feel like "phallic" gets overused. It's not like dicks have a particularly unique shape. A lot of things are "vaguely cylindrical".

He always did strike me as kind of a self-righteous curmudgeon. Dude had a whole song *in the '70s* about how "today's music" sucks and isn't good like music was back in the day, and he was preemptively defensive about being criticized for it *in the song*.

They should just invent some wacky glyph like Prince did. Except that he later changed back, too. Huh.

Maybe because it breaks the immersion? Unless it's supposed to be silly, like Zack Morris pausing time, it's hard to take characters and their situations seriously when they're just straight-up talking to you.

Because bell peppers are tastier than candy. I'll take them if you don't want them!

They don't support him for his policies. It's not about that. They're a literal, not a figurative, cult. Anything the Dear Leader says is right, even if it directly contradicts whatever he said yesterday, which of course was also right.

I was also born in 1980. Whether I identify as Gen-X or Millennial usually depends on who's asking and why. We should just call ourselves "gen-fluid".

I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees Brad Pitt in this image. How has he not already starred in a movie about this guy?
