The US negotiates a deal about #Ukrain that without consulting the Ukrainian people should not be a surprise. This is what American governments do all the time, they don’t talk to land owners. They make deals with third parties in isolation of the land owners.

This is great news because the Syrians are free from 50 years of brutally suppressive dictatorship that left no Syrian family without a killed or imprisoned member.
