The experiment was set-up with a gradient of soil fungal biomass inoculated into sterile soils (soil 1 lowest, soil 4 highest; Fig. 2A). The analyses performed for bulk soil (‘B’), rhizosphere soils (‘R’) and plant (‘P’) are listed in the timeline per analyses. For interaction traits the measurement parameter is mentioned.
