These period medallions took 7.5 hrs to make, @ $30/hr for skilled labor, that's $75 each / $225 for the set.

Today, I am left contemplating those who aren't with us this year.

So, today I entered my Barony's A&S competition with a hand made, sand-cast medallion, and a LOT of documentation.
It was my absolute honor to be named the Arts & Sciences Champion of Wiesenfeuer in court this evening. I am still speechless.

One of the 100 hand-cast tokens I made for my wife's vigil last week. The two bumps in the upper right are raised enough to hold a brush or pen and keep it from rolling. I hand cast, cleaned, sanded, drilled and ringed all 100 of them.
