Today I want to remember the achievements of Maria Skłodowska Curie, a franco-polish scientist, winner of 1903 Nobel Prize in physics.

She discovered radioactivity and new heavy elements such as Polonium.

It's also her merit if today we can generate nuclear energy.

Roman mythology is not a copy of the greek one. In the Roman Pantheon, Minerva is not a warrior goddess like Athena: instead a warrior goddess is Bellona (Bellum=warfare) , who is also the wife of god Mars.

Napoleon II, son of Napoleon I and his austrian wife Marie-Louise, Duchess of Parma.

I think he was so handsome, he had so gentle and soft feauters.

Sadly he died of tubercolosis, only 21 years old.

Women were an integral portion of the Napoleonic-era armies: they were army wives, nurses, sutlers and vivandières (women who cooked for the soldiers).

These were tough women since they had to bear the forced marches, heat and cold and the diseases which affected the armies.
