Just finished my fifth game of the excellent new General Orders: Sengoku Jidai! Beautifully produced (cute wooden ships!), intensely tactical, and well paced. Thanks to @djackthompson.bsky.social, @trevormbenjamin.bsky.social, and @ospreygames.bsky.social for another wonderful design.

Just played my new copy of Brian Boru for the first time! I have long loved @peersylvester.bsky.social 's The King is Dead, and so I was looking forward to trying this. It did not disappoint! Interesting theme, well-done mechanics, hard choices, all inspiring humorous and invigorating table talk.

Just won Land & Freedom: The Spanish Revolution and Civil War on Rally the Troops for the very first time! A fascinating and fun semi-cooperative game with a lot to say on the nature of unity politics against fascism. Highly recommended, and looking forwards to @alexknight.bsky.social's future work.
