73 years ago today this precious boy, my brother Walter, passed away. He was six years old. He contracted a bad case of the measles when he was three which developed into encephalitis. There was no vaccine at that time. How many parents will go through this now because of stupid politicians?

My Teddy who is three weeks post-op from major surgery is finally back to his pre-op self. He’s a trooper ❤️

Poor Teddy had to have some pretty serious surgery. Celebrating week one of recovery with a treat. He’s looking handsome in his blue camo recovery suit, designed so he doesn’t have to wear a cone.

Your babies are adorable! My ‘old man’ (only thirteen) is having surgery today for a malignant tumor. I would appreciate prayers and/or positive energy for my Teddy from a fellow dog lover.

I actually did that. Told four friends we needed to reschedule because I hadn’t realized Friday was the fourth. This was my boy last year huddled under multiple blankets with the tv up loud.

Fifty one years ago today I said I do to this guy. We’ve supported each other through the highs and lows of life. He still makes me laugh and I still love his kisses. I’m just as happy sitting on the front porch with the dogs as I am traveling to Australia or road tripping across the West. ❤️ U Mike!
