It is possible they were using a mod to bring back the world generation of Beta 1.7.3, as the Far Lands were surprisingly popular.

Hunger didn't exist yet so stopping for food isn't an issue (though food directly restored health, so if you took damage...)

To be fair, he's getting resistant to it too. They had to *double-stack* the mind control in Forgotten Land because a single layer of it wasn't strong enough.

Depends on the game. I signed Spin and Jump to zL/zR in SRB2 and never looked back, it just feels so natural to play with analogue camera control. Combine that with the superior Manual control scheme and you have perfect precision that you'd never get otherwise.

I mean this is literally how us Sonic fans feel. There's so many different "styles" of sonic, many of them CANON, with Sonic characters acting differently between them.
Adventure Sonic acts differently to Colours Sonic, who acts differently to Frontiers Sonic.

Like Mario Kart DS? Mission Mode never let you pick your character, usually just giving you someone who fit the challenge's theme (or Mario, if it's generic enough)

Oh that's a mood. Every time I try to get into a turn-based RPG, I always lose interest at around the 5-8 hour mark. Doesn't matter how good it is.
... Which is probably why I got on with games like Undertale or Dicey Dungeons, thinking about it. They're short. They keep my interest.
