+ "No action tonight, anyway." He could feel the green eyes boring a hole through him. Sighing, he turned to see Ray's unhappy face. "I don't see a divorce in our future, love. And we dealt with being apart in different ways. I should've known you'd go for the femmes." He managed to shrug. +

+ "It does bother me she's an "other" and you didn't sense it, nor did I. But first...Robin's letter. I was thinking how we just accept technology so much, a message not on a screen is curious." The left boot was on; black leather gleaming. "Are you wearing boots or the tennies?"+

+ He slammed the door shut and Ciro shook his head. "How strange that most of us text and email." He sat up further, and tuned to the side, letting the covers puddle around him as he reached for his boots. "Ray, we still need to talk, but whatever's going to happen now, we're standing together."+

+... Robin stuck his head in, his eyes taking them in, then dismissing it. "If you are quite done making up, there's something on my table you need to read." His face wore a strange expression; part amused, part annoyed and all Robin.
"An actual, delivered by mail, letter. Come on, Up!"+

The lull he'd been in from Ray's stroking his hair was broken by the words "She could lock her thoughts." Sitting up, Ciro's face was paler. "There aren't many creatures that have that gift. And she had no other taste in her blood. Only yours..." The bedroom door was flung open ..+
